As our Senior Employee Experience Manager, Leah’s job includes all the elements of a core human resources role - onboarding and offboarding, home setups, remembering birthdays and anniversaries, sending care packages in need, and regularly checking in with each member of the Paper Giant team. Generally speaking, her job is to make sure that we are all okay.

Leah’s approach is one of deep listening. She turns our human-centred approach to design back onto ourselves, figuring out solutions to people-centred problems, often before they are problematic.

Without meaning to be, Leah is a master at connecting with humans and making them feel safe to share their vulnerabilities and struggles. She creates space for frank and candid conversations about how we work - alone and together - and figures out ways to do it all better.

Over the past few years, Leah has focused on getting us through the work changes we’ve all experienced through the COVID-19 pandemic — getting us over the hurdles of remote working and finding ways to keep us engaged and connected. These days, she is finessing her approach as we embrace flexible and hybrid work models. From time to time, Leah lends her knowledge and experience to our projects, such as Beyond Blue.

Outside of work, Leah is a musician and runs a small business hand-making small-batch candles which have been sold in the National Gallery of Victoria.
